Washing & Drying
Norfin Thinsulate Boot Liners, proper washing and drying will help maintain its insulation and durability. Here are the recommended care instructions:
How to Wash:
-
Hand Wash Recommended: Fill a basin with lukewarm water (below 30°C / 86°F) and use a mild detergent. Gently agitate the liner in the water.
-
Machine Wash (if necessary): Use a gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent. Place the liners in a mesh laundry bag to prevent damage.
-
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, fabric softeners, or strong detergents, as they can break down the Thinsulate insulation.
-
Rinse Thoroughly: Ensure all soap is rinsed out to maintain breathability.
How to Dry:
-
Air Dry Only: Lay the liners flat on a towel or hang them in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
-
Avoid Heat: Do not use a tumble dryer, radiator, or direct heat, as excessive heat can damage the Thinsulate material.
-
Ensure Full Drying: Make sure the liners are completely dry before placing them back into the boots to prevent moisture buildup and odor.
